Duke Nukem: Glorious Bastard and Crysis TPBs from IDW Publishing

IDW Publishing is collecting two of its recent video game tie-in comics: the first a time traveling romp starring Duke Nukem and the other linking to EA's Crysis. First up, Duke's adventures apparently weren't finished with his recent game release, oh no, he's got Nazis and aliens to kill apparently. From the synopsis for Duke Nukem: Glorious Bastard:

What do time-traveling Nazi UFOs, space pigs, and a hot French Resistance babe code-named the "French Tickler" have in common? They’re all about to run head-on into Duke Nukem, and for some of them (the ones that don’t look good in bikinis, that is), it’s gonna end painfully.
Video game legend Duke Nukem tears it up in his first comic book series! Written by Tom Waltz (The A-Team: Shotgun Wedding) and illustrated by Xermanico. The King is finally back, baby, and he’s bigger and badder than ever!

Then there's the pretty much straight-up adaptation of EA's shooter Crysis, whose first batch of issues gets collected:

From the lead writer of the Crysis 2 video game!Set in the world of the award-winning Crysis games comes the newest hit series from EA Comics!

Earth, 2020. United States Special Forces Major Laurence “Prophet” Barnes and the soldiers of Raptor Team thought their deployment on the Lingshan islands was a basic covert op against North Korean forces. But they couldn’t be more wrong. What archaeologists awakened on the island had lain buried for millions of years, and was utterly hostile to human life. Now an alien race are stirring, first contact has turned into humanity's worst nightmare, and Prophet's squad are the last remaining survivors. Only one real question remains - can Prophet get his people off Lingshan alive, and back to civilization in time to warn the rest of the human race what's on its way.

You can pick up both trades in stores.

Sonic the Hedgehog #232 from Archie Comics

Sonic the Hedgehog keeps going strong with his long-running series at publisher Archie Comics. Here's what Sonic and company are up to this month:

Answers to old question and new surprises abound in an issue primed for new and old fans alike! Then, in 'From the Shadows,' a defiant Elias seeks out his last hope. Who is Harvey Who? And what does he have planned?
